Carts

Carts lists every cart you’ve made. The one your shoppers see has a green Live badge. Only one cart is live at a time, so you can work on a new design while the current one keeps running.

  1. In Carts, choose Add cart.
  2. Pick a template and choose Create cart.

The editor opens with a copy of the template. It’s called “New cart” with today’s date, and it isn’t live until you publish it.

A cart copies its template once, when you create it. Templates get new versions from time to time, but carts you already have never change by themselves. To use a newer version of a template, create a new cart from it.

Choose ⋮ next to a cart, or the ⋮ menu in the editor, then Rename. Shoppers never see the name; it’s only for you.

Choose Publish from the ⋮ menu. Publishing a cart replaces the live one, and the previous cart goes back to being a draft. Nothing is lost: you can publish it again at any time. See Save and publish.

In Carts, choose ⋮ next to the cart, then Delete. The cart, its blocks and its design are deleted for good; there’s no way to get them back.

Deleting a draft cart doesn’t change your store. Confirm with Delete cart.

Deleting the live cart takes NativeSlide off your store. Within about a minute, shoppers see your theme’s own cart again, and they keep seeing it until you publish another cart. Because of that, you have to tick the box that says you understand before Delete and remove from store works. To switch carts without a gap, publish the other cart first, then delete this one.

If NativeSlide couldn’t update your store after deleting the live cart, you’ll see Your store hasn’t been updated yet. Publishing another cart fixes it.
